The Property

Whether making your way down the stairs to our cozy Club Room with its fire roaring, finding a hidden corner to tuck away with your book or walking the trails to the sounds of the river flowing by, there is a particularly special feeling of discovery at The DeBruce. The building has sat perched over the WIllowemoc Valley for the past 100 years, greeting guests, hosting meals and serving as a launching pad to explore the wild mountains and valley of this place. There is a sense of solitude and isolation that wonderfully creeps in. These physical qualities make it a place where you can at one instance be surrounded by the warmth of friendship and in the next find deep-rooted, self-indulgent, intimacy.
