The Stay
Whether for a brief one night stay or multiple days at The DeBruce, plan on getting lost a bit and finding some unexpected moments. Explore the trails, dip your toes in the river, try your hand at fly fishing, meet fellow guests around the fire, work up an appetite for the storied tasting menu. Be our guest, slow down and enjoy the moments.
There are 12 guest rooms across three floors, some with clawfoot bathtubs. Some rooms offer expansive views of the Willowemoc Valley and River and glimpses of the mountains providing trails for guests. Guest rooms feature straightforward, clean design details that aim to bring a sense of calm.

The Rooms
All guest rooms offer a sense of calm. A backdrop for your own experiences. A comfortable bed with plush down duvet covers, Sferra Linens, en suite bathrooms, and Malin & Goetz bath amenities. Larger rooms offer sitting areas, some enjoy sweeping views of the valley on which the hotel is perched, while many also offer clawfoot tubs.
The Property
Whether making your way down the stairs to our cozy Club Room, fire roaring, finding a hidden corner to tuck away with your book or walking the trails to the sounds of the river flowing by, there is a particularly special feeling of discovery here. The building has sat perched over the WIllowemoc Valley for the past 100 years, greeting guests, hosting meals and serving as a launching pad to explore the wild mountains and valley of this place. There is a sense of solitude and isolation that wonderfully creeps in. These physical qualities make it a place where you can at one instance be surrounded by the warmth of friendship and in the next find deep-rooted, self-indulgent, intimacy.
The Food
The restaurant and its kitchen is at the fulcrum of any stay at The DeBruce. We think not just about each meal but how they connect and form a lasting memory. The Tasting Menu is an immersive dining experience where each courses of the progression helps to tell the story of our home and of our heritage. Staying with us allows our guests to experience the culinary journey in its fullest, with preferential reservations for the tasting menu in our jewel-box dining room.
